WAL*MART

I can't stand Walmart, yet I found myself going there yesterday. And it's not just because the one in Mankato has the worst traffic in the history of shopping centers. It's mostly because of the million other people wandering around.

To be fair, it isn't just Walmart, there are other places that get just as many people, but it seems to always be the case in the land of .96 rather than .99 It is amazing what a difference 3 cents makes.

I propose that we put in a mini highway system for shoppers in these places. Complete with stoplights and turn signals. Having a fast lane would be the greatest thing in the world. I don't mind people walking slow, it's when they're walking slow and weaving all over the place with shopping carts in a line five wide that makes me want to beat them over the head with a Rollback sign. Maybe in 40 years I will be one of those people, but by then my idea will have been implemented.
