Music

I consider myself one of the most equal opportunity music listeners I know. I figure if it has a beat, I'll listen to it. If I had to pick a genre to listen to it would be country first because I can always tell what they're singing about. Of course for the longest time I thought Kenny Rogers had "four-hundred children" but that could be another topic.

I haven't quite joined the digital music revolution yet, partly because I have a lot of CDs and a mega-changer, and partly because I only have a 4GB hard drive. So of my CDs here are some of my favorites.

  • Bowling For Soup-Drunk Enough To Dance
  • Michelle Branch (Both)
  • Dido-No Angel
  • Evanescense-Fallen
  • The Goo Goo Dolls-Dizzy Up The Girl
  • Jewel (Any)
  • Lifehouse-No Name Face
  • Matchbox 20-You Or Someone Like You
  • Bruce Springsteen (Most)
  • Jessica Andrews (All)
  • Garth Brooks (Most)
  • Kenny Chesney (All)
  • Dixie Chicks (All)
  • Mindy McCready (All)
  • Sawyer Brown (All)
  • The Wilkinsons (All)
  • Chely Wright (All)

Pick any of those and I don't have to skip anything. My country collection is much smaller in terms of artists, but I have most of the collections of those mentioned. I have all of Garth, but who isn't sick of some of his stuff?

Am I reading this correctly?? Matchbox 20 is one of your all time favorites! Can you still listen to Matchbox 20 (You Or Someone Like You) straight through beginning to end? I guess I must not have played that one quite enough in college.

That's right Duhn, I can still listen to it. Can you?

Truthfully, I don't think I have listened to it since junior year in college. I hope I didn't lose the CD!!
